The conviction that humanoid robots soon will be a part of everyday life is gaining terrain. Of course at factory, at home, in the networks, in the office and any where, the applications are many and so are the challenges. The future is coming soon.

Android OS will contribute seemless connection with Google Apps Engine between robotics and IT.

We show one of application “RIC android” which is the bipedal robot driven by Android OS.
In the future, RIC android connect to the internet to share the motion in database stored by “Cloud”. You can enjoy with RIC android TTS, voice recognition and commands from cell phone which has android OS.

It uses intelligent servo motors controlled by command from Android OS. RIC android can use text to speech (TTS), voice recognition in cell phone to give a command to RIC android.

To prepare future generations for this major change in our society and networks, today company and schools are looking at how to include robotics in their students’ curriculum. This includes both teaching robotics but also using robotics to teach other fields such as internet technologies, communication, mathematics, physics or computer science.
